Privacy Policy

1. Who operates Stayrr

Stayrr is operated by Vladan Marković, an individual operator in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@stayrr.app.

2. Local-first product data

Stayrr does not have an account or login system, a Stayrr backend, or Stayrr cloud sync. Most product data is stored locally on your device in a SQLite database.

Depending on the features you use, local data may include your preferred name; onboarding answers, goals, and intentions; Commitments; Work Blocks and Sessions; outputs, reflections, and timing; Purpose Access reasons; override and intervention outcomes; and Discipline Score, history, evidence, and receipts where those features are implemented.

This history is part of the product: it helps you see evidence of your follow-through over time.

3. Device and iCloud backups

Although Stayrr does not operate cloud sync, the app’s main SQLite data may be included in Apple device or iCloud backups, depending on your Apple backup configuration. Apple controls those backup services under your Apple account and Apple’s terms and privacy practices. For that reason, Stayrr does not claim that all data always stays only on the device currently in your hand.

4. Screen Time and Family Controls

Stayrr uses Apple’s Family Controls and Screen Time frameworks. You choose individual applications using Apple’s system picker. Stayrr stores the Apple-issued opaque application tokens and selection counts locally so it can apply your chosen protection.

Minimal opaque runtime data is shared locally with Stayrr’s Screen Time extensions through an Apple App Group. Stayrr does not decode or store ordinary app names or bundle identifiers from those tokens. Stayrr does not receive your browsing history or the content you view inside selected applications.

Selected-app tokens are not sent to RevenueCat or to a Stayrr server.

5. Subscriptions, Apple, and RevenueCat

Subscriptions are processed through Apple’s StoreKit and App Store systems with RevenueCat providing subscription and entitlement infrastructure. RevenueCat may process an anonymous RevenueCat App User ID, product and offering information, transaction and receipt information, entitlement or subscription state, and introductory-offer eligibility context.

Stayrr does not send RevenueCat your preferred name, onboarding answers, Commitments, Work Blocks, selected Screen Time tokens, or local product history. RevenueCat handles information under its Privacy Policy. Apple handles App Store transactions under Apple’s applicable privacy terms.

6. What Stayrr currently does not collect

The current production app has no advertising SDK, IDFA collection, analytics SDK, or Stayrr crash-reporting SDK. It does not collect GPS or location data, contacts, health data, or an email address or account through the mobile app.

The Stayrr website uses no analytics, cookies, tracking, forms, or third-party marketing scripts.

7. Focus Challenge images and sharing

Focus Challenge images remain local unless you explicitly choose to share them through Apple’s Share Sheet. When you share, the destination you select may process the image under its own privacy terms. Stayrr does not control that destination.

8. Retention and deletion

Local history is intentionally retained as product history and evidence. Completing or abandoning a session, or allowing a subscription to expire, does not automatically delete that history.

Uninstalling Stayrr normally removes the app’s local container, subject to information later restored through Apple backup behavior. Apple and RevenueCat purchase records are separate from the local app database and are kept according to their own legal and operational requirements.

Stayrr currently does not provide a complete in-app “Delete All Data” control. You can remove the app to remove its local container, keeping the Apple backup limitation above in mind.

9. Children

Stayrr is intended for people aged 13 and older. A minor must have permission from a parent or guardian where required by applicable law.

10. Security and changes

Stayrr uses the security protections available to its local app container and Apple platform capabilities. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app where appropriate.
