Having trouble with Stayrr? These are the best first steps for Screen Time and subscription issues.
Common questions
- Screen Time authorizationStayrr needs Apple Family Controls authorization to protect selected apps. Open Stayrr and follow the authorization prompt. If access was denied or changed, check iPhone Settings for Stayrr’s Screen Time or Family Controls permission, then reopen Stayrr. Restarting the iPhone may help after a system authorization change.
- Selected apps are not protectedConfirm that Screen Time authorization is active, that at least one individual app is selected in Stayrr, and that your current Work Block or Focus Session is active. Apple controls enforcement, so system availability and operating-system behavior can affect protection.
- Restore PurchasesUse “Restore Purchases” in Stayrr while signed in to the same Apple account used for the original purchase. Stayrr verifies entitlement through Apple and RevenueCat; no new charge is created by restoring.
- Manage or cancel a subscriptionOn iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions and choose Stayrr. Apple manages subscription changes and cancellation. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
- Request a refundRefund requests and decisions are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple account used for the purchase.
- Privacy questionsRead the Privacy Policy for details about local storage, Screen Time tokens, Apple backups, and RevenueCat.
